Under the framework of MINARET II project, the Royal Scientific Society \/ National Energy Research Centre organized the \u201cWEF Nexus Training of Trainers\u201d in cooperation with the Nexus Regional Dialogues Programme (NRDP), to provide acquaintance with the Nexus Training Materials to help inspire the institutionalization of the Nexus approach in the MENA region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The aim of the Training of Trainers (ToT) is to provide actors in WEF Nexus with the necessary know-how and skills to coordinate, organize or even facilitate their own capacity development measure revolving around integrated resources management, so that they can contribute to a future WEF Nexus Training within the MENA portfolio of the Nexus Regional Dialogues Programme and become a Nexus Ambassador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
20 experts from Egypt and Jordan representing academics, government institutions, and research agencies participated effectively in the workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MINARET II initiative is implemented in the context of the Nexus Regional Dialogues Programme, which is implemented by RSS on behalf of GIZ, and co-funded by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
