{"id":17422,"date":"2021-02-14T11:30:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-14T09:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/minaretproject.com\/?p=17422"},"modified":"2021-03-11T13:26:05","modified_gmt":"2021-03-11T11:26:05","slug":"membership-of-jadaidet-el-chouf-and-monastir-municipalities-at-the-covenant-of-mayors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/minaretproject.com\/membership-of-jadaidet-el-chouf-and-monastir-municipalities-at-the-covenant-of-mayors\/","title":{"rendered":"Membership of Jadaidet el Chouf and Monastir Municipalities at the Covenant of Mayors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>The Royal Scientific Society \/ National Energy Research Center has successfully completed the registration process for the municipalities of Jadaidet el Chouf and Monastir in the Covenant of Mayors for Energy and Climate Change, based in Brussels, after the submission and approval of the Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) for the two municipalities, the fruit of two years\u2019 efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Covenant of Mayors Initiative for Energy and Climate Change was launched by the European Commission after adopting the EU Climate and Energy package in 2008, to help local authorities\u2019 efforts in the implementation of sustainable energy policies.
