Training on Water Resources Management in Al-Karak

MINARET represented in IUCN team held a training titled “Building the capacities of the MINARET project’s task forces and the local authorities on water resources management and WEF Nexus approach” during 18 – 20 August 2020 at Karak Municipality – Jordan.

The training arrangements considered all safety measures, social distancing and preventative actions as a response to health protection procedures against COVID-19.

Training topics included:

Surface water, ground water, unconventional water sources, monitoring water resources, water supply management, water uses, water demand management, water energy food Nexus, climate change and water, sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Training certificates were distributed to all participants at the end of the training.
