Official Visit to the Tunisian Minister of Women and Family Affairs

An official visit was organized by MINARET Project representative and Parliamentarians from Jordan and Tunisia to the Tunisian Minister of Women and Family Affairs on February 14, 2018 as part of the activities of the MINARET First Regional Platform. An overview about MINARET Project was provided and how gender mainstreaming is an integral component in the water, energy and food sectors. The minister showed interest in supporting the implementation of activities relating to gender. In addition, a brief was provided by the ministry on the newly implemented anti-violence against women law.
